Handmade Bird Houses and Feeders
One of the most unique aspects of Lehner’s Bird Houses and Feeders is finishing each custom design with a hand-cut, hand-shaped copper roof. The copper adds a nice finishing touch that ages beautifully and increases the longevity of the roof.
How They’re Built

Zebra Wood |
All houses and feeders are built with ¾” solid wood. Pine is the most common, although maple, oak, and poplar are often used.

Custom bird houses are built to a dimension and with a hole size appropriate for the bird population in the area the house will be located.
All houses and feeders are hand painted or stained/polyurethaned with a minimum of 3 coats of finish. You can choose the color and finish of the project, possibly matching the colors of your own house. Although a copper roof is not required, it is a material I try to incorporate somewhere in the product.

Lehner’s Bird Houses and Feeders is happy to work with you to ensure your custom bird house or feeder is what you envisioned. Also, let me know if you prefer specific materials and woods. I will get back in touch with you to get more specific information and prepare drawings for your review.
Before starting the project, I’ll prepare a quote with any supporting information, such as drawings, a time frame for delivery, and shipping costs. (The finished product can be shipped anywhere in the United States. ) Your approval will include a 50% payment up front with the remaining 50% due prior to shipping.
